Martin and Malcolm: Live Strong and Preach Peace
2016, Black ink on Paper, 28" x 18", unframed
FCE College Success student, Anthony Amanoni, created this piece specifically for the March to Success 2016 gala. Anthony put portraits of two historical figures, Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., side-by-side to juxtapose his idea that "you should live with a strong hand your aren't afraid to use, but not forget about the other hand that should promote a gentle and prosperous action". Anthony used a style called "Scribble Art", which also makes the piece abstract.
